It feels weird to type this, but I think I want Netherlands to win it all.

I'm also a quarter German, love the way Messi (but not Argentina) plays, and would be happy with the hosts taking home the trophy.

Jesus. That's possibly some of the worst marking I've ever seen at this level. That was like a post pattern where the CB and Safety tripped each other up and the WR walks into the end zone.

Brazil will get at least one laughably bad call at a crucial point to allow them back in this game. Believe that.

With the way they have been playing it won't be enough. I see a 2 goal german win with ease.

This is an awesome game, so far. GER scoring first is a huge bonus for the neutral looking for entertainment.

Wow.

So much for the Germans regressing back to organized, stoic style. They are beating the crap out of the Brazilians with swift attacks coming from all over the field.

And while I was typing that...

Waiting for the first idiot to blame this on losing Neymar, as if he would make a difference to this shambolic back line for Brazil.

Heh it was a bad team to start. Fernandinho was put in the lineup to kick chile and colombia. You cant kick Germans so why is he there? Hes given the ball away everytime.

Well, I didn't say THAT. But this is evidence of what Germany can do if you're disinterested defensively.

I don't understand what Brazil is doing on defense... It's really bizarre. Like, WTF are they doing?!

As a bettor I'm actually pretty psyched about this because I think if it is Argentina-Germany in the final (as I suspect) I should be able to get some really good value on Argentina. I smell a massive overreaction to the betting public on Germany in the final. (but I'm not betting on NED, because Germany will toast them. Argentina actually has a chance I believe.)

Brazil looks so bad you almost have to wonder/worry about match fixing as ridiculous as that sounds. (I obviously don't really think that's what's happening, but if a team conspired to throw a match it would look something like this.)

Didn't see this when I posted... This is unreal. It's almost hard to watch. I mean... the host country. And of all host countries... This is just off the charts surreal.

The best comparison I can think of, for sports shock value, was when Buster Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson.
