Allen being a little gunsling-y and McDermott being a little dumb and the Bills staring down a double digit deficit at halftime and KC gets the ball in the second uh oh

Romo laughing at Kelce taunting for quite some time after a TD rather than ask why that's not a penalty is almost as bad as Brady simply laughing when they showed the replay to show why a Commander was injured and it was of Jalen Carter punching him in the face.

Was listening to a preview show this morning and they mentioned Mahomes didn’t have a rushing attempt in the regular season game against the Bills. Not the case tonight.

It took you 4 tries get one yard for a TD and it took an incredible play by Cook, so obviously you have to go for 2 because the only possible points for the rest of the game is a KC field goal.

That really was an insane play by Cook to get in after being popped mid-flight.

Cook seems to get extra yards every run out of a normal formation, so why switch away from that on short yardage?

What was the call on the field there? Or is this review and assist and it doesn’t matter?

Pasted that in the wrong thread, I guess I missed them giving it to KC to start.

I get the fatigue, both with this matchup and KC in general, but this could be a great game.

Well yesterday's games certainly didn't do anything to alter the idea that this league has a massive officiating problem.

if you're talking about the officiating after yesterday's games it's because you simply want to talk about the officiating after yesterday's games

Are we allowed to say the refs fucked up the call on the 4th down in the 4th Q without saying it's a conspiracy?

Alright, I don't know why Kelce is exempt from taunting penalties, I don't think anyone had full possession when the ball touched the ground and if anyone did, it wasn't Worthy, multiple holds on the big punt return, and I don't understand how you go by the spot of the ref who Allen's back was to rather than the ref who the ball was facing, and I'm pretty sure Kincaid got it already on the play before that anyway.

Right. CBS mentioned that the two line judges were initially not in sync on that call, and eventually showed a replay and noted the guy whose mark appeared to give it to Allen "had to move to get around someone" on his way to the pile, but I don't think ever mentioned he was the one who had a better view of the ball. For whatever reason, it seems like the broadcast partners, who should be the league's first line of defense against "controversies" like this, can't always explain them cleanly and/or clearly.

Kevin Burkhardt and Brady don't ruin the game for me. So I'm not in that mode, but...

Kevin's inability to actually watch the game and pay attention to what is happening is pretty annoying. It was moving into the Gus Johnson Zone of What Game Are You Watching at several points. I didn't make note of all of them, but there was one instance where a very clear PI was committed; the ref that was 5 yards away very demonstrably threw his flag, and KB was calling an incompletion, oblivious to any infraction. It was fucking weird.

He's probably trying to figure out what the fuck brady is talking about. Everything TB12 says is either insightful so as to be unimaginable to the common ball knower, or completely off the plot. But Little baby K wasn't doing much to help the whole situation.

The NFL might be big enough to stand up to Trump. If it wasn’t run by Goodell.

Hey, Jets fan, the first sentence of his wiki:
Robert Wood Johnson IV (born April 12, 1947) is an American businessman who is co-owner of the New York Jets and was formerly the United States ambassador to the United Kingdom from 2017 to 2021.

I know all too well, I was hoping he’d leave the country again. I just meant the NFL is big enough that they could keep their DEI stuff and not be harmed.

My overall point is that the league is the owners, most (all?) of whom like Trump.

What are the odds that at some point during the game (halftime?), Fox gives Trump a platform to talk some shit. (Like espn did during the NCAA championship game.)
