Yes. Massive YouTube channel and has been a guest on College Game Day on ESPN and everything.

I put in the comments: "Patiently waiting for the Barrack Obama and AOC cookout catered by Meat Church. Tag me when it happens. Until then, I've enjoyed your channel and social media presence, but I'm out. ✌️"

Highly unlikely I'll get any responses.

I try to get along with Trumpers. I really do. But, sometimes…

So, this lady who lives a couple doors down from us posted a copy of Biden’s pardons on Instagram, and said, “Hmm… if they are supposedly innocent, why do they need pardons?”

I couldn’t help myself, even though I know my response will affect our neighborhood relationship. I replied, “Because Trump will go after innocent people he believes were disloyal to him. What you should be asking is why Trump pardoned a bunch of rioters who attacked police and smeared their feces on the walls and floors of congress.”

I’m surprised at how little coverage Trump firing 15 Inspector Generals is getting. OTOH, they flooded the zone like nobody has ever seen, and it’s impossible to keep up. And people are more interested in debating stupid shit like Elon Musks salute.

Eh, Elon is the biggest troll ever, he feeds off it. When people called him out on Twitter he responded with puns involving the names of Hitler’s henchmen. It makes him more of a hero to their shitheel , and the conversation distracts from all the horrible shit Trump is doing with little to no opposition.

It is an interesting and somewhat macabre parlor game to play at a large gathering of one’s acquaintances: to speculate who in a showdown would go MAGA.

It’s not about feeding off trolling. It’s feeding off of suffering.

I’m going to allow the conversation to proceed, and perhaps callout the media for their inability to cover more than one bad thing at a time.

Troll or no, the only thing that bothers these people is when you question/insult them on a personal level.

To AB’s point, calling them “weird” had great traction, and it seemed like as soon as the Dems higher-ups told them to cool it TFG’s support started back up.

That’s why I think it’s good to point out to Trumpers that they can’t get laid, and that’s why they’re Republicans.

Likeliest candidate to run in her place is current MI governor Gretchen Whitmer. After that the bench gets fairly thin,
Someone on Twitter pointed out that Pete Buttigieg moved to Michigan a couple years ago.
Oh shit. Totally forgot about that. True, him and his husband have a place near Traverse City. That would be interesting. Whitmer's aspirations might be to run for President in 2028, so Buttigieg running for that Senate seat makes a lot of sense. Wouldn't surprising me if Stabenow's retirement was all orchestrated for that purpose (though she'll be in 74 in 2024).
After Gary Peters retirement announcement seems pretty likely Buttigieg will win that MI Senate seat, especially in a mid-term election.

I think it’s pretty likely Gretchen Whitmer will be the front runner for the Dem nomination in 2028.
