McNeese starting to feel the pressure. A ton of turnovers the last 3 or 4 minutes. 13 point game.

Brownell hasn't looked that bad since they switched away from suits on the sideline. He used to look like he dressed in the absence of light.

Feels possible/likely this is the first time four difference schools from same conference playing at same time in an NCAA Tournament?

Bill Self needs to take a year off. Going from preseason #1 to losing in the first round is a tough look...

I get that UM is annoying and to some they are the stormtroopers.

It's pretty fucking annoying to almost always have "neutral" announcers cheering on your potential downfall every year.

So, like... Fuck you, we won?

I thought that Arkansas-Kansas was marred by an impressive number of absolutely terrible turnovers. Just wildly stupid plays by both teams.

I frankly don’t watch a lot of college basketball so I’ve noticed that as a general trend in the games I do watch over the last couple years. Not sure if it’s because more teams are playing quicker/more possessions or there’s less coaching because players can transfer as much as they want.

I think there is the influence of so many young players spending time doing skill development instead of just playing basketball games. Basketball IQ is fading at lower levels, including D-1.

Maybe the reason for the seeding. Every time I looked up there were guys two feet above the rim and clean blocks on tough drives. Impressive officiating too. Bartender a big UK fan so he said they did the Cal thing second half but I saw about 5 big time plays in 5 mins of action. Looking forward to calipari vs pitino and it's kinda shocking to hear myself

It taking 3 tries to finally run a decent inbounds play at the end of the game...with the color guy (Steve Lapin?) saying "run the baseline! You can run the baseline!"...was excruciating...

I have seen plenty of cross-court passes in halfcourt offense this week that have been either intercepted, thrown into the fifth row, or barely caught by a guy leaping as high as he can, including multiple ones last night. You never throw a crosscourt pass in the halfcourt.

Almost as excruciating as Fland not running the baseline. The first set where they had three players being guarded in man setting screens would have been made easier by Fland acknowledging he could move by doing it.

Update: I Venmo’d my entry before I realized it didn’t take, and asked the commish whether I can show my brackets from another pool or just refund. He said to just take screenshots and email it to him and he’ll fix it manually. Good stuff, considering it does upset bonuses first two rounds and I picked both Drake and McNeese (neither are massive upsets, but I was one of three who had both).

My bet fading the SEC is looking good though it’s likely going to come down to either Alabama, Florida and/or Tennessee losing before the Elite Eight.

PC is hosting this so why does CBS have to be showing campus shots from Brown? I’ve stood there I know where that was!

Also, any idea why the CBS score ticker has been excluding the Drake/TTU and Creighton/Auburn games all afternoon long? The later non-CBS games are on there.

They didn’t think enough to get the right b roll footage. Probably didn’t want to spend any more time in providence than necessary. Sketchy folk.

He normally brings two shirts and changes at halftime because he sweats so much.

So, your description is fair.

I didn't see this game...but I did see last night that for some reason Pitino benched his top player for the last 5ish minutes of the second half. Was there any explanation for that?
