Is it fair to question whether Willard even wants to advance at this point?

Wow. Bama just broke Loyola Maramount’s record for 3s in a tourney game with their 22nd with about 7 minutes left.

It’s too bad that they sent Maryland to San Francisco instead of Newark. He could’ve stopped by Radnor, PA on his way back to College Park.

I like to think of Arkansas fans thought Cal would be the diamond in the rough like Aladdin, but now they see Jafar at the end.

Phenomenal recruiting powers...itty bitty coaching brain.

His team played some mighty entertaining tournament games. On one hand, he got a 10 seed a hair's breath from the Elite Eight. On the other hand, what was that collection of talent doing as a 10 seed?

I know who will know this answer, but any reason why they haven't announced times for Sunday? Are they waiting to see who won? That would make sense except they had already announced Saturday times by this time yesterday.

Yes, they need winners for TV to set schedule. This was the first thing I saw with tomorrow's times from very early this morning:

Basically, Duke winning clinched the late spot for that game to maximize TV audience.

He can almost take a 10 seed to elite eight and he can take a two seed almost to the second round.

They had the times for Saturday already by this time yesterday, just not the matchups. I can't find the actual times for Sunday at all.

They usually do wait for the results, but given that they sent the #1 team to Atlanta, you can be pretty sure that game will be second.

My bad. DirecTV is listing the two game windows for 2:00pm and 4:30pm Eastern on CBS. So, probably 2:09pm and 4:49pm tip-offs.

I can’t be too mad. Think the effort wasn’t there but I also wasn’t on the court. This is a solid first year for pope. Sweet 16 should be the absolute minimum expectation and yes I know how arrogant that is and also fuck it go big blue!

A #1 seed playing a Sweet Sixteen game against a #4 seed 65 miles from the latter’s campus is absurd.

I dropped my wife and M-I-L off at the airport yesterday to travel to TX. They're in The Woodlands, TX this weekend catching up with my brother-in-law's children who are either home on spring break, or visiting their parents. My brother-in-law is a PoliSci professor at UH.

It's more like 2:20pm and 5:09pm, so a little more wiggle room before the tips.

Yeah, you like that.

In the ESPN Bracket Challenge, I went from being ranked 990 out of over 24.4 million entries to 2,048,919. This, after I lost both Sunday’s games.

Prior to that, I had 28/32, 14/16, 8/8, and well I had 2/2 on Saturday. 0/2 on Sunday.

Ouch.

JFC this fell to the second page, I posted in the football thread originally!

Dudes are thus far providing a more competitive Final Four than the ladies did last night. Had to get up early this morning so wasn’t too upset that UConn dominated the first half of the late game. Good night.
