Interesting... I've been to dispensaries in Boston, Chicago, Steamboat Springs, Denver and a few other places in CO.

I've never met "Surly Budtender." I think the closest was a fairly indifferent guy in Ft. Collings, I guess.

I tried the new place on 22 West on the opposite side of the GSP (near the Hillside border) - The Union Dispensary. Very tiny. I liked the gummies they randomly(?) chose for me the first time, and when I went back last week they were on sale for $17 for a pack of 20 5mg so I bought two.

Made it until 8:59 before I had a beer. Topped out at 2 gummies because I felt gooooood

First 90 minutes, I felt super relaxed, happy and weirdly energized. I see energizing described in a lot of edible reviews, but this is the first time I ever felt that. If I had more, I would have drank a second, as it's only 5mg THC and 10mg CBD, but after 90 minutes, the couch lock kicked in, which was also enjoyable. I'm a lightweight with edibles, 10mg and I'm a melting into the couch and nodding off like heroin junkie. Although lately I'm nodding off watching TV even when I'm sober, so maybe it's just more of a late night thing than a weed thing.

I’m a fan of the cycling frog as well. In fact, the last time I grabbed was a at a liquor store that opened before noon on a Sunday in either BH or New Prov. You’re right about the 90 min time frame. I’m good for only 2 before the flavor starts to get to me so I haven’t gotten myself in trouble with a third.

My wife and I tend to pop an edible and then drink wine. Some nights that's great, but a lot of times it just knocks us out earlier than we'd like. Going this route but just drinking these might be a good alternative.

I don't remember if I drank anything that night. I usually have a beer or glass of whiskey after an edible or hitting the pen. I didn't think the drink was enough, but I didn't want to take more as I wanted to experiment and see what the drink would do, so I may not have had any alcohol either. I find that I can barely finish one drink when I'm high. Just sip it all night and barely finish, so it's never enough alcohol to do much. That could contribute to my inability to remain conscious. I also find that I can't remember whatever show I watched when I'm high, so I can't watch anything good. Just go to some stupid comedy like Always Sunny or Brooklyn 99 or Family Guy.

Knock on wood for urine should be OK. They’re usually looking for high concentrations in those tests.

And even where weed isn't legal recreationally, most employers don't care, they are more concerned with other drugs. One benefit of living in NJ (and a handful of other states), employers can't fire or refuse to hire for a positive marijuana test, outside of specifically listed jobs or government contract work requiring a drug-free workplace.

My old company doesn’t even check for pot except at one location and thats because they had a real bad problem for a bit. But I haven’t had a test since 1996!

The big gallon jug? That and some water soluble vitamins will make the diluted piss neon yellow. Before we were married my wife made some random grocery employee piss in a bottle so I could strap it to my leg with a heat bottle and pass my test. Worked.

Just an FYI for you or anyone else, having a legit medical card isn't relevant for employment testing. Employers can fire you for a positive marijuana test even with a legal medical card and documented need for weed. Card is still nice for not getting stopped by the cops.

Good reminder that my edible stash is getting dangerously low. Need to make a trip to the dispensary...

It wasn’t a gallon no. Like 20 0z and you had to refill bottle and drink another 20. Then it said stay hydrated etc. I’m probably close to a gallon since I woke up.

Had just picked up my kid from tennis lessons in a nearby town (Westfield you guys) and was driving in a 25 MPH zone and was approaching a line of cars that appeared to be slowing down or stopped for a light up ahead when all of a sudden the car right in front of us slammed into the one in front of it, forcing that one into the next car.

Almost immediately I notice smoke and I think “oh man” and then the doors of the car in front of me (a maroon Sebring) open and smoke pours out of either side and the windows are fogged up and the driver tosses something under the car and I see the ladies from the car in front of them notice all of this and look at each other and I think “OH MAN!”.

Anyway those guys really fucked up and ruined what seemed to be a pretty good day they had going.

I took about 60 mg of solvent-free edibles before the Trey show. Listening back to the recording of the show and there are definitely blank spots in there for me. Good stuff.

No kidding, I’d be on another planet at 60. Just waiting for a night when I’m home alone and can experiment with a larger dose. I’d like to hit the vape then eat 20mg. 10 is the most I can handle and interact with the family without them knowing. And I think my kids would see through it if I had to have a conversation with them.

I think the tolerance gets built up pretty quick with edibles. So I try to take some time off of them for a bit. Flower is definitely more consistent, if not as powerful.

I'm a vape guy. I have some pre-rolleds around for when I want a quick puff, but that shit stinks and I don't smoke at home.
