I heard yesterday that 4/5 of the cardinals doing the voting were put in place by Francis, so...
You can lead a horse to fish, but you can't fish out a horse.

Exactly. That was kind of my implied point. Compared to Francis, Saint John Paul II was Attila the Hun.
Yeah. And when you read about the earlier Popes, like hundreds of years ago, they make SJPII look like a saint.
Pope Alexander VI must be the worse, they made a tv show starting Jeremy Irons, The Borgias.

He may be the worst. But if you know your European history for the Middle Ages/Renaissance eras, it is a horse race!
