I just asked my buddy who is from Bergen county and his immediate response to the question was an immediate “no”. “There’s 1/3 Jersey that is north and 2/3 that is south. No central.”

He has a Jersey tattoo so he’s right IMO.

I agree with everyone except Giff’s friend and SCK’s ex. Mt. Holly borders Lumberton, and it doesn’t get more South Jersey than that name.

Not being a native, I don’t care, but it’s fun to argue with people who care way too much about this argument. Although I won’t call it Pork Roll. Taylor Ham Forever!

Another fight I can’t get as worked up about as the natives. I think I usually say Taylor Ham, but PREC would work too.

As for the game, we have a good friend whose daughter was elementary school best friends with our oldest and is a frosh at Rowan, but my wife was a fill-in adjunct at Montclair St for one semester (and almost went full GOP over how whiny the students were, in a grad course!!). Torn.

I love pants. I own two prints bought from the artist. Pants is one, the other should be swamp explanatory.

It's official. They're closing Kingda Ka at Great Adventure. Green Lantern, too, but that was only ok.

Sucks. That was fun ride. I was between posting it here or the "Worthy of Mention" thread.

Big news, a fourth dispensary opening up on Rt. 22 in Scotch Plains. The old McCaffrey’s (I think it was a tree service, sold huge stacks of firewood in their parking lot). There are now 3 within a couple hundred feet, and the 4th is maybe a quarter mile away. I can’t imagine they all survive. Im sticking with A21, haven’t been to the others, but I was very happy with their service and selection. Now I order online and it’s all ready to go when I get there. Pretty sure it’s free delivery, too.

Finally made it there tonight. They’re not shy with the breading, but plenty of chicken in there, too. I really liked it, though hot (second highest heat level) wasn’t that hot. Second notch down at Flamin’ Feathers makes me feel it.

Just two sandwiches and fries. Fries were by no means cold but weren’t fresh from the fryer. Seasoning was good (not spicy).

Their new storefront in an expanded location downtown opened today, with a full kitchen and space to sit down. Just got drinks but the Ube honey toast is a beautiful looking dish and some of the sandwiches sound great.
