I picked up Dwyer last night in my pay league and he'll be my RB2 since Lamar Miller was occupying that spot. I fully expect Carlos Hyde to be the guy in a few weeks. I drafted Gordon in the 14th and then promptly dropped him after they upheld the suspension. Tried picking him up yesterday, but was out bid by $32. I'm deleting the league if his suspension is overturned.

I have to select 1 of Justin Hunter (away to KC), DeAndre Hopkins (home vs Washington) or Allen Hurns (home vs Phili) to play along side AJ Green and Kendall Wright.
My gut says Hurns:
Hunter as the 3rd option, away from home with Locker. I think its an all or nothing selection and he and Wright take targets from each other.
Hopkins at home vs Washington with a dud QB won't do much.
Then I come back to Hurns...
Henne at QB, playing at home vs the worst pass defense in the league and almost certainly playing a lot of catch up football. Add to this Cecil Shorts being ruled out last night, so Hurns will be starting...
Too late to ask for help, but the decision between starting Matt Ryan and Romo is torturing me. I feel like Romo is going to put up more points, but I can't pull the trigger on pulling Ryan. Figure Ryan is safer. I just have a hard time trusting Romo.
And my very late pick of Ladarius Green may pay off earlier than I thought. I think he could beast if Gates goes down, which I think is inevitable. Gates already questionable with a hammy. Could see Green taking over week 1.

I Played Brady over Ryan. I now hate myself.

I can't remember the last time I started 1-0. Unless the Arizona D puts up 28 points tonight, I will this year. Luck had a nice second half and going with Nicks over Caldwell as my WR3 paid off nicely. Looks like the only big mistake was deciding to go with Pitt D instead of Detroit, but my every week D, Denver, looks like it could be good.

Texans D also helped me beat Rass WITHOUT A QUARTERBAKK.
He had Matt Stafford...but I had Megatron. Combo-breaker!
I ****ING HATE Cam Newton but kept him on the field because every slouch reporter in the world ASSURED me the "Q" next to his status was a formality. Fuckers. Anyway, sorry Rass. I wonder what went through Rass' mind when Rashad Jennings scored in the second half to put me up by 6?

Can start up to 4 RBs. Normal scoring, save 1/2 pt per reception.
Definites: Mr. Pink @ Indy, Gio vs ATL
Start 2 from: Vereen @ MIN, Travis West hosting NO, Lamar Miller @ BUF, or DMC hosting HOU. I'm leaning on Vereen and West right now. I have time to change my mind.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.
I'd go Vereen and West. Vereen played something like 61 snaps last week, compared to 19 or so for Ridley. There's no reason to think that won't continue. West is going to get the majority of carries for the Browns. Isaiah Crowell will get some carries, but he's a third-string back at best. He's only getting attention because he scavenged two touchdowns last weekend.
I know not everyone is as high on Wilson as I am but he's the guy I bought to the dance and Dalton just so happened to fall to me as a backup. Play the matchup against ATL or back the guy you kept and has kept you competitive the last 2 years?
I love Wilson as a player, but I don't think he cracks the Top 10 for fantasy. He is consistent and will have very few bad games, but his ceiling is low. I also think Dalton is in for a big drop from last year's stats, but I'd play the matchup and go Dalton.

If Welker is cleared, I slot him in at WR1 immediately!
Life is good.
(maybe)
They are really dragging this shit out. Both sides agreed to raise the marijuana level well above Gordon's test results, and it is supposed to be retroactive. for some reason, I am reading a lot of pieces saying Gordon would get reduced to 8 games. If it is changed to a clean test, where does the 8 games come in? Is that for the DUI?
I was railed on for keeping Gordon with an 8th round, and can keep him next year for a 6th round. No brainer IMO. PPR league with Demaryius, Antonio Brown and Gordon would be pretty damned sweet.

Suppose you didn't prioritize a defense when drafting your team. Then suppose you pick a new team every week as needed based on match-ups. The suppose you see the Falcons on the FA market and playing the Bucs and think...hmmm...the bucs are pretty bad. But I think the Falcons defense is too, so you dismiss them and pick up the Colts against the Jags, despite the exact same thought process applying.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

Don't worry - they are the Jags who gave up 10 sacks to the Redskins last week.

Then you would be managing my team. Watching that game was made worse by starting Matt Ryan, and watching the defense scoring TDs and shutting out the Bucs. At least the Falcons still came out throwing early in the first half. Certainly can't complain about the final stat line.

I also picked up the Colts' D this week even though they are generally poor. Oftentimes, picking a fantasy defense is actually picking against a terrible offense.

Fuck the Thursday night game for existing and making me forget to set my lineup in time for the one week this season Eli Maninng will have a productive game*
