Standings to follow at a later date - let me know of any other protests. This wasn't the smoothest of weeks. Like, did I give anyone credit for Kirk Gibson when you actually said Wladimir Gibson?

holy fuckbAllZ, what a ducking nightmare. Holy shot. Just, fuck. The
Good game cheddah. btw, didn't we also have that dangerous jobs question on a swampcrash back in the olden days? I almost answered Iron Worker because I seemed to remember it from that time.
Not trying to fuck anybody in the cooter, but the official name of West Germany was "The Federal Republic of Germany", which is the official name of Germany from 1990-present. Does the IOC count wins from 1948-1988 under a different flag?
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

Good game SLolgunpowdericeHayes and thanks again Ryan for putting together.
Also--not a critique of Ryan's question, but I think it's bullshit how the NBA doesn't recognize ABA stats the way the NFL does with the AFL. Just a slap in the face to all the great players from that era--Gervin, Barry, Issel, Gilmore, and especially Dr J, who has no business not being on an all-time top 20 scoring list for pro basketball.

Probably miffed about the TV monies that still go to the NBA. Grantland had an article arguing that perhaps the Jets - Patriots trade concerning Belichick was the greatest ever, while not technically a trade I'd argue that the deal the Spirit owners got was the greatest in history.
I saw a lot of the ABA's Nets on TV. When they played the Colonels, Louie Dampier and Darel Carrier used to routinely drop 50+ points on them, largely from long distance. Later Kentucky added Dan Issel and Artis Gilmore. That subordinated Louie and Darel in the offense, though they could still light it up. And what a great foursome that group was! Their closest NBA equivalent was the Lakers team featuring Wilt, West, and Goodrich.
Almost halfway to the perfect season! Good win ljam.
I still don't believe an airline pilot's job is more dangerous than a miners. They must count all the pleasure flyers that crash their tiny plans as airline pilots for the stat to make any sense.

I hope so, otherwise I may never fly again.

Good game Diamond.
You're welcome for taking down DC and keeping you in first.

Actually, on the World Series question I typed Guillermo Hernandez. But that's actually Spanish for Whitey Ford. So I guess I win.
