NEw gatorade ads are solid.

Are "North Atlantic" lobsters so abundant that we can allow Golden Corral to cook their tails and sell them for $5?

I would stay at any hotel that barred this guy. I mean, I have my wife and daughter to think about.

Reminds me of the Alec Baldwin/Jerry Seinfeld discussion of the word "rapier" on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
"You think you're rapier than me?"
"My cellmate in Raway, he was the rapiest guy."

Linette Beaumont. The woman in the new Viagra tv ads. Not unattractive.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

That whole line of adverts seems creepy to me too. The Trivago guy is certainly rapier.

My wife thinks that commercial is hilarious, and she had never heard of Ickey Woods, or the Ickey shuffle.howard wrote:No Ickey love in this thread?

Speaking of commercials. Yesterday, I was getting a bite to eat from the cafeteria at my gym/health club. I absentmindedly sat down at a table next to the window by the swimming pool. A couple minutes later, a friend of mine comes up with a big grin and says, "Let me guess. Your cable is out, so you came down here to watch folks swim, right?"

Papa Johns has some cojones. It takes nerve to use the tag line of better ingredients; better pizza, when you are featuring a pizza topped with Fritos corn chips in the advertisement.
I'm sure a pizza topped with gummy bears is coming next.

The woman in the Bank of America commercials certainly shops for mundane items with confidence.

I want to punch that AT&T girl right in her smug face every time I see one of those fucking commercials. Do they think she's just like Flo? She's not. She's a condescending, unfunny bitch.

Tag team match: Flo and Lily vs. the Wendy's girl and the woman from the Toyota commercials. Who wins?

Re: Commercials
I don't know about a fight, but ranking them on likability, I'd have to go:
Flo
Wendy
Toyota girl
Lily
There's a gap between 2 and 3 and a big gap before 4.
The doable scale might just be reversed (but Lily would have to shut the fuck up).

Re: Commercials
Lily is annoying, and I always felt like she could be cute, but just isn't. I did a Google search, and she looks really cute in some pics that are probably airbrushed. She has done a tone of comedy shorts, including an interview series called Let's Talk about Something More Interesting. Kind of a Between Two Ferns, but with 2 clueless girls. Slight bonus for being Uzbeki.
.
And you guys make me sick. Talking about fuckable recurring commercial girls, and leaving out T-Mobile motorcycle turned sweet innocent sundress girl?
End of conversation.

Navy Federal Credit Union was the place you set up an emergency account for your direct deposit in basic training if you didn't have one set up prior to.
Now they have commercials that cater to like 4% of the population. Weird.

I pretty much only watch sports online so I don't know how much regular airtime this Nissan ad gets:
http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7WNV/2015-nissan ... -migration" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So many questions.
1) Who the hell ever sees a lone bird and instantly knows that it has lost its migratory flock? Can't a bird just go do bird things alone?
2) How did they catch the bird?
3) They're asking directions around what appears to be several counties (states?) and people are actually giving them directions. To a flock of birds.
4) Isn't a bird by it's own the most capable of finding it's flock? I mean, they can literally fly!
5) Couldn't they come up with a better excuse for a feel-good mash-up of rural Americana?
