Had a vague memory of him hosting SNL when I was a kid. This is the only clip I found.

That guy creeped me out so bad when I was young...

Jury's out on that one. As Swampcrashers can attest, I can get confused by "reply all" in Yahoo and just sent an e-mail to my sister talking a little crap about the other not knowing they were both on the chain.

I had assumed he was the shooter (since it is almost always the man who does the killing in these stories.) But, I didn't learn until just now that it was her; and that is the first question, was there abuse (just playing the odds.)

James Horner: Oscar-winning composer dies in crash

Or as closed an unfortunate caption captioning mistake on the local news explained it this morning:
...James Porter, decomposer of multiple Oscar winning films...

Seriously though:

She burned down her ex-husband's house and chased him around trying to douse him with gasoline before she did. I don't think this was an abuse issue.

The guy living in the room next to me sophomore year played only Rush and Yes. Loud and constantly so much that I got to the point where I listened to his playlist more than my own. In fact I was half convinced Swamper rush2112 was him when he said he went to college in Boston the first time.

Yeah, my wife mentioned this and this was my second thought. My first thought was "isn't she already dead?", but I was thinking of Heather.

Most definitely. Mid-1960s Julie Christie is peak hotness. (Though granted that's only an incredibly small reason to watch the movie.)

Odd coincidence - today is my (late) Mother's birthday, and Omar Sharif was one of her heartthrobs. Guy would come on screen - even during one of the ads he used to do - and she's sigh.

Maybe they'll go for dinner tonight?

Have you ever looked at someone wearing Ed Hardy and thought "man, whoever dreamed up that shit deserves to get colon cancer and die at 57?" If you did, you got wish.

I'd argue Mr. Sharif would deserve his own thread.

Certainly in my estimation. I think the swamp is a bit too young, perhaps if the median age was about 10 years higher.

30 For 30 did a good documentary that shows the other side of that story - focussing on Brazil's keeper in that World Cup.
