Kaiser Blackpool was Charlie Adam the whole time.
One milkshake to bring all the boys to the yard and in the darkness bind them.

Who was the graphic designer? Guy was here for a hot minute, eh? Speaking of, who was it that did the swamp portraits that were printed on t-shirts?sancarlos wrote: Sun Aug 11, 2019 1:44 pmI guess you weren't Swamping yet when we all adopted them as the Swamp team. (Even got our own t-shirts printed!) So, you have that connection, too!Pruitt wrote: Sat Aug 10, 2019 7:46 pm My only connection with the club is buying a Seasiders mug when I was in blackpool 30 years ago... but that clip made me very happy!
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

I don't remember who designed the portraits one, nor did I get one of those. That was quite a while ago, even for this place.

The stone version is just as casual as the logo.wiki wrote:The Lincoln Imp is a grotesque on a wall inside Lincoln Cathedral, England, and it has become the symbol of the city of Lincoln. A legend tells of it being a creature sent to the cathedral by Satan, only to be turned into stone by an angel.

Kind of makes me want to be a Lincoln fan.

Well you can want to be a Lincoln fan but I will take the 2-1 lead for the good guys in the 66th minute over a funny logo/mascotsancarlos wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2019 11:45 am Kind of makes me want to be a Lincoln fan.

Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Pool back in the playoff hunt. Currently 5th in the table. Not much room to give points away right now (teams in 6th and 7th have a way better GD) but only 5 back of 2nd place and 8 back of 1st.

Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Wasted opportunity today. Gave up a goal at 90+1 to Stanley (16th in table) and went from 7th to 10th in the table. Would have been playoff slot.
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Pool keep going the wrong direction. Down to 13th in the table. But only 10 points from the top of the table an 5 from the playoffs with a game in hand.

Manager gone after one win in twelve

Pool have had good friendly results so far. They went up 3-0 over Everton in the first 11 minutes. Everton has pulled 2 back at the half.

Barry Gibb is looking a whole lot like the former Blackpool owner/chairman

Baggies had tied it. Pool just went up 2-1 in the 66th.

Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Seasiders missed their first penalty, then the Baggies had their second and third saved. Blackpool could've won on their fifth, but hit the post. pool keeper saved the Baggies fifth though. Up the MF Pool!!

Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
I'm case you have not been paying attention, the seasiders are in the promotion hunt. 6th despite giving up a lead to those bastards plymouth argyle.
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Sucks to draw with a sock pattern.
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
5th with a game in hand for teams around them. Need some solid play to get too much farther up the table (10 points out of 2nd), but the 4-1 thrashing for Gillingham was one of those 6 point fixtures this time of year.
Some big matches coming up
Lincoln (6th)
2 against Sunderland (3rd)
3 against bottom feeders in there too of the 9 remaining.

Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
3 big points against Sunderland today. Looking good for some playoff soccer for Blackpool.

Doubtless a pivotal episode of next season's tragi-comedy "Sunderland 'Til I Die"

Been a while since I check this thread. I thought these guys were two or three levels down. How is sunderland in the same spot. Worse apparently. I'd like to go check it out but blackpool seems about like the cape. Cold beaches not real enticing.

Blackpool is one of the funniest places I have ever been. Was there in the mid-90s and it was so cheesy, so absolutely English.HaulCitgo wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 10:15 am Been a while since I check this thread. Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Pool lock up a playoff spot with one to play. Actually in 3rd but can't get to automatic promotion
