Ah Concussion Awareness
This does not look good for Mark Cullen and Alan Sheehan as they come together in the air and clash heads.

Both men are down and both look in pain but are up on their feet.
Blackpool have used all of their substitutes but forward Mark Cullen is looking a little worse for wear right now, barley able to move, but still manages to win a header in the middle of the park.

Eventually the ball is played out to Tangerines' Brad Potts, but his shot is saved.

What??? I gave up when they fell down 3-1, stopped following the live updates. Outstanding! I'll have to figure how to get Sky2 or whatever network for the Wembley game. This promotion via playoff can be a thing again.

good job by Blackpool to get back up.

That comparison above is so unfair. In 2010 it was a playoff to get into the Premier League!

3 more points with a W over spoiled pork.

Not sure what is going on with this Belokon madness..but on the field 8th place is not a bad spot after 4 games.

I'm fuzzy on the details, but I think Belokon formally resigned from the BFC board this week, and the Oystons are refusing to appoint a new director that Belokon wants on the board. I believe the decision in the Belokon lawsuit against the Oystons will be announced in a couple of weeks, so all of this is probably related to that.

Pool tie Wigan 1-1 but lose 5-4 on PKs today

I am pretty sure this Checkatrade Trophy (EFL) was setup by Charlie Stillitano ( guy who runs the ICC money grab soccer thing every year). So the first round is a group stage but they still do PKs?

Blackpool had scored the highest number of goals from outside the 18-yard area across all four English divisions (and this was before Saturday's win with 3 more from outside the 18).

4th in the table and tied for 2nd based on points (GD of 8 v. 6)

The court made a ruling today. The Oystons must pay Belokon £31.2 million and also are forced to make Belokon a 50/50 owner of the club with the Oystons. Belokon only owned 20 percent of the club.

http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport ... -1-8843167

Will be interesting to see if the Oystons are forced to sell the club now.

ETA: Also, £10 million of the £31.2 million has to be paid within 28 days. Will be interesting to see if the Oystons have that kind of cash reserves.

I am in for $50 swamp bucks...but I have to believe the Blackpool Supporters Trust folks will try to get in the ownership group. I like how the following statement is made "Substantial, external, non-football revenue is a major component of the Properties business.". Guess they are talking about the property and hotel.

I know the BST was in talks with Owen Oyston two years ago about buying the team, but he refused to sell because he didn't think the BST had enough financial backing to run the team long term. Don't know if that's changed or not.

My guess is a third-party comes in and buys the team and Valeri Belokon walks away after getting paid by the Oystons. The English Football League ruled earlier this year that Belokon is disqualified from being on the board of directors because of a conviction in absentia in Kyrgyzstan (thank you, Sporcle!), so I doubt he'll be able to buy the team outright. Belokon claims the conviction was illegitimate, so there might be an avenue for appeal to the EFL.

So 0-0 tie with Bristol Rovers and an hour later they can the Chief Exec. Replace him with Sam Oysten. Sam is 24-years old and has been running the hotel/being in charge of the redundancy process. Sam also has a long term illness (which was disclosed in a strange way too). Then you get a new director, Natalie Oysten.. They are selling the team right?
oh and rules
