What do you got for me here? Give me some good news please, CMU basketball has been a wasteland for far too long given how good the athletic department is in general. Will this guy cheat? I kinda hope the answer is yes. I really don't even care at this point.

Yeah I know that. Should be back in MtP for his senior season. I want to know if one of major revenue sports — which shouldn’t suck but does — actually has a chance to maybe be like every other sport in the athletic department, a perennial contender for conference titles. We just spent $40M (huge money for the MAC) on a state-of-the-art athletics support building connected to the football stadium that is better than just about every mid-major and some lower-tier P5 schools and want to start seeing CMU the one beating Virginia and Georgetown et al in the Big Dance.

I think he knows how to run a program. Cal hasn’t really produced much of a coaching tree though. That may be because cal isn’t an in game wizard by any stretch. Barbee probably wasn’t ready when he moved to Auburn. But with a couple of more assistant experience under his belt I’d think he can be solid.

I'm guessing Mr. D is kidding but even if he's serious I don't really care as long as this guy cheats to win. I'm like 95 percent sure Akron cheats and gets away with it, fairly confident Kent State does too and about the only team to win multiple titles in the MAC in the last 10-15 years that I'm sure is on the up and up is Ohio, so...yeah, time to even shit out.

Looks like I might get my wish. CMU is one of only 10 Division I schools to never be sanctioned by the NCAA, but that streak might be coming to an end. Hopefully we get a couple of conference titles out of it.
