I was kind of happy to have some players turn up COVID-positive in Week 14 to get past it for the playoffs. Assuming no symptoms and Keenan Allen clears 2 negative tests for a Thursday game...

ETA: And happy Chubb had COVID 3 or 4 weeks ago!

Last year they pushed games to Tuesday the following week and counted it as the scheduled week. Maybe they do that and allow players to submit fake vaccine cards to reduce the mandatory COVID List period? I'm trying to weigh the cost/benefit for Chubb with half his team out. Baker's stats suck and they are a run first team anyways, but now he faces stacked fronts. Double the fun, as I was planning on starting Chubb and Henderson in the same league.

The Football Team is up to 21 at this moment. Who knows how many it takes until they postpone for a couple days. I guess theoretically some of them will be cleared before Sunday, depending on how many are positive/close contacts or vaxxed/unvaxxed. Montez Sweat and Kyle Fuller are unvaxxed and not eligible to play, I believe. Darryl Roberts was on the list but has since been re-activated.

Stupid fantasy question: I have Josh Allen and Justin Herbert. I was planning on rolling with Allen despite the toe injury, but was feeling it out by how much he practices. Then I panicked realizing Herbert plays tonight, so I can't wait on it. Allen was limited in practice. I'm reading the Chiefs pass defense has been great of late. I'm in meetings the rest of the day, what says the Swamp: Herbert or Allen?

Majority of experts I've seen have Allen at #1, and I feel crazy benching him, but I just have this nagging feeling of something going wrong and getting stuck with whatever scrub I can get on the wire last minute. I'm starting Keenan Allen, so fear a bad night kills my chances. I'm favored by 10 points, so I'm leaning playing conservative with Herbert. I don't think I've played Herbert once all year and usually get burned when I overthink and bench the guys that got me through the season.
