Yep...
Re: Sinead O'Conner
56. That's way too young.
She lost a child last year at 17. I'm wondering if it wasn't natural causes. Sucks.

Re: Sinead O'Conner
She definitely has had mental health issues over the years.
We got to see her in a really small venue, right before the pandemic broken out(Feb 2020) and it was a riveting night. You could tell it took a lot to get her to dig into the mental space to perform the songs from "I Do Not Want...", but it was amazingly powerful, and she even danced around some during "The Last Day of Our Acquaintance".
And damnit...she was fucking right about the Catholic Church.

Fuck.
She spoke truth to power. Actually, she screamed it.
Rest in peace.

My mom is a huge Sinead fan. I”I Do Not Want…” was on in my mom’s car and house constantly from when it was released until around 2000 and I’m glad I was exposed to it. I wish I had seen her live. Very sad news.

Gonna flog one of my favorite 'casts again.
Just relistened to most of it during a run. The opening bit about Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin, not included in that recap, is great. I remember the episode ending on a relatively positive note, so maybe I won't listen to the rest of it.

It’s possible that the fact they haven’t released the cause of death tells us the cause of death. So sad.

That may not have been the first, but it was one of the early instances that I can remember my sister and I having real conversations. I was 15, she was 19 and in second year of college. The talk was likely at Thanksgiving given the timing. I don't remember feeling strongly about it (did I feel strongly about anything in 1992?) , but she did and explained pretty well what had happened.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

I know it wasn't intentional, but can the thread title be corrected, please?

Ugh, so sad. This sucks.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.
