Marcus Allen, sixth grade. Didn't even care about the Raiders. Just a 12 year old kid that really wanted to be Marcus Allen.

How did this even happen? Did you just adopt the Packers after the Oilers left Houston?

Favre Packers were super popular here. Plenty of people at school were rooting for them over the Bledsoe Pats. Starter jacket frequency was high too.

I cannot remember if I had a jersey for a player in my youth. I did get a blank Avalanche jersey for Christmas one year because I was obsessed with sports teams moving and changing their entire identity. (Then Ray Bourque got traded there the following year.)

If it's player specific, then it's a Manny Ramirez Mitchell & Ness Red Sox one that a buddy bought for me because deployed locations sometimes have these bootleg jersey dealers and it was like $15 or something. I still haven't worn it.

No, Lee Roy was the first Buc ever, so he was definitely there already. Doug may or may not have been there yet. Doug is definitely the first Buc QB I can remember, but I don't remember when he arrived.

My parents moved to Chicago area my senior year of high school and then the next season my Dad scored Packers tickets through work. Went two seasons in a row and was in need of a team after the Oilers left, so there you go.

Really not sure? If I had anything as a really young kid it was probably a very generic black/gold 12 or 32.

I don' t ever remembering having a jersey or a shirtsey. The sport shirts that I wore were the caricature ones like this:

God damn, I loved the charicature shirts, and I definitely had to geographically branch out because they definitely weren't making these about the Bucs ever.

I honestly don't remember having one as a kid...they just weren't a thing back then. I do remember having a totally generic football shirt, with a number, but it wasn't any particular team or player.

So I guess the first one I had was a Luis Garcia Liverpool shirt that I bought off of EBay...

I don't think I've ever had a jersey with a player's name on it. I guess I haven't had many jerseys at all, but more recently, I've bought some Chelsea shirts - no names or numbers though.

The first I can think of was a Brooks Robinson polyester one (back in the day when I went to summer camp with BFJ's cousin). May have had a colts shirsey with Mike Pagel's number on it when I was still in velcro shoes.

This is how I remember it too.

I think my first personalized player jersey for myself was Gary Taylor-Fletcher when Blackpool made the Premier League.

Before that, I bought an Aramis Ramirez jersey for my son when he was 4.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

This is where I've been for a long time. Last shirtsey I remember getting was the great Carl Pavano.

Only shirtsey i have is Rapinoe. Swore I'd never get a jersey of a player younger than me. So that ship has sailed.
