Re: A New Brushes with thread

Guy on the USTA team I'm captaining was on the 1984 UVA Final Four basketball team with Rick Carlisle and Olden Polynece. Really good tennis player. Serves with both hands. As probably the only Swamper who followed that team and went to a couple of their games ... who? (wild guess - Doug Newberg?) ...

The 2021 Masters

I've been watching Masters Films on Sky Golf which are just produced recaps of each Masters. If you don't recall who won though, it's exciting as hell. Do you guys realize that in 91, Tom Watson missed slam dunking a bunker shot on the 18th hole to win? I didn't think he won that late, but holy shit...

Aaron Boone...grow the fuck up. There's no conclusive way to overturn that call, the umpire you're bitching at didn't even make it, and you're still up 7-0 with 2 outs in the 9th.

Last night, dude from UCLA threw up an airball from the FT line and he was apparently embarrassed by it so told Cronin to protest to the refs about it and Cronin did, even though the guy wasn't close to him. Then the refs immediately called an offensive foul on Michigan at the other end that was bla...

Just adding... Last weekend, you had a feeling of them wobbling because they weren't used to the rotation without Livers. Today they looked like they had a better handle on that, and Johns was ready to be "the guy" whereas last weekend he wasn't really ready. They are a nasty team because even when...
