These fucking assholes deeply believe the top political monkey jobs are their personal property, their right to possess regardless of the lies and other blatantly unethical/immoral behavior. Who can fucking blame them, since voters clearly don't give a fuck and return them to office, despite their crimes and bullshit. I am specifically talking about 95% of the senate, at least 90% of the house, must be a similar percentage of governors and biggest city mayors, and 100% of recent presidents except Carter and Bush I, who lost to bigger liars.

When other countries hold elections that provide 'choices' that are no choice at all, we correctly label those countries as not democratic. And those elections are correctly labeled the sham that they are. We even actively encourage boycott of such elections abroad.

The editorial - a brilliant hatchet job by the way, ends with this...

There was an amazing series called Boss in which Kelsey Grammer played the long time mayor of Chicago. A major character in that series was a young (handsome - unlike Weiner) politician with big ambitions named Ben Zajac, a guy who could not stop sleeping with women who weren't his wife.

In the show, his wife hates him yet stays with him because she too craves the power.

Great show... and honestly, I can not think of any other reason why this Huma woman - educated and with a blossoming career of her own - stays with this prick. And it's not like they've been together for 10 or 15 years. My prediction is that if Weiner drops out of the race, the marriage will last a couple of months tops.

And in other news, apparently Weiner will sit down for a one on one interview with noted journalist Geraldo Rivera.

This candidacy died (mercifully) around 8am yesterday. Executioner, Howard Stern. He interviewed one of Weiner's chickies, Sydney Leathers. Devastatingly hilarious. The prior day, Robin and Howard voice-acted out a transcript of one of the phone-sex calls. Stern at the height of his skillz and powers.
