1...funny. 2..i am a little better off, but I did unfollow him. I guess 86 year old men with nothing to do between comic cons have too much time on their hands.

I wouldn't feel too bad. I don't follow Woj or Shams because I follow enough people who will rt them when something major happens. I realize it's not quite the same, but might find a similar/smaller account that retweets similar things without the follow.

I don't understand why anyone would feel guilty about unfollowing someone. It is your social media feed, you don't owe following someone to them.

I am close to unfollowing Takei, but I'm starting to really pick up the # of folks I follow so he's not dominating my feed.

I'm actually really enjoying the platform, but as I've said a lot, I wasn't really into Twitter for many years... I know a bunch of you guys had a much more active feed on Twitter, so I understand it's probably jarring to see your favorite feeds not on bluesky.

For me, it's an opportunity to cultivate and curate from a reasonable amount of feeds and not be so overwhelmed with nonsense.

Forgot about this platform. Looks like I have 2 invites if anyone wants. Half my feed is George Takei, the rest is DSafe reposts. I haven't spent much time looking for people to follow.

There's some website where called Skeet were you can put in your twitter handle and your bluesky handle and all your twitter follows that are on bluesky pop up and you can follow whichever of them you want at Bluesky. Helps with the Takei problem...I am following 170 now and roughly 160 of those came from that process.

Right now, you have five people following you on Bluesky. At least four of us are Swampers. So if you go to our accounts and see who we follow, you will find other Swampers.

Depends on whether you're on a computer or phone. On a computer it's at the bottom of the far right column. On the phone you have to hit the three parallel lines at the top left and it's close to the top in blue font.

I see it on my phone, not on my computer. I only see one column of George Takei alternating with DSafe reBlues.

Apparently, there’s a way to embed Bluesky tweets. But, understanding it appears to be beyond my meager cranial endowment. So, if one of yinz figgers it out, you can school us.
