I have a standard HP Elitebook and anytime I am plugged into an HP Thunderbolk dock, the only thing that works is the power. My mouse, monitor, and anything else I have in the dock is not working. Any ideas?

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Where was the shortcut? Was it in the Finder Sidebar? Like, when you click on Locations in Finder (if it's minimized), do you see Google Drive there?

I'm using GD. I'm very familiar with it. When you're in the web version, there's a sidebar that includes a "Shared With Me" button, which takes you to all the items that others have shared with you. These are not accessible from GD desktop, because there's no "Shared With Me" folder (for whatever reason). So, in the past, the workaround was to log-in to the web version, create a shortcut then place it into "My Drive", then that would appear in your desktop GD and you could move it wherever and get to that "Shared With Me" item whenever. That method no longer works (just noticed my files hadn't been syncing for like a month), and I just get an error message. Thus my question. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, I came across that solution as well but as it's 4 years old it's no longer viable.

I'm finally going to have to ditch Evernote. They've gotten to the point where they limit your total amount of notes to 50 or you have to pay a whopping $130 a year for what was once free. I've been using it since 2009 or so, so it's really fucking annoying, but whatever.

Microsoft OneNote looks ok as a substitute. As do a few others like Joplin or Google Keep.

Anyone have a preference?

Evernote is, for lack of a better term, half-baked. There is still no archive function. That's just stupid. They want your data, but they don't want to share your data with their competitors.

Anyway - export the notebooks you no longer use (one at a time) down to your computer or NAS.

That's weird. Is this a Mac? Is it possible that you haven't granted Teams the rights to access the camera?

No...Dell Laptop. And I did these steps:
Open System Settings on your device. Select Privacy & Security > Camera. Make sure the Microsoft Teams toggle is turned on. Select Quit & Reopen or Later to quit and reopen it later.
And still won't work. Very strange.

Speaking of Evernote...I "upgraded" to the latest version and the result is that I've apparently lost several years' worth of notes, including most of the stuff related to the games I've run here. I caved an purchased a subscription to see if that would help, and still nothing. Fun.

Hey gents, I'm embarrassed to say that my absence was so lengthy I've forgotten some of the phpBB tricks.

Looking to remember how to link tweets and also how to hyperlink text to a different website.

Also, any tips on resizing photos would be appreciated.

Tweets can be copied directly in with their url BUT you have to change "x.com" to "twitter.com" in the link. Shockingly Elon didn't cover all his bases.

For hyperlinked text, you highlights it and then hit the chain link button above. It will put the URL brackets in, and you just have to change the first one to have the URL in the first bracket Then, the text you want to display between the two bracket sets. Hit reply to this and you'll see the actual code in there that has the example above and below.

Track your cars maintenance!

I use Photoshop for resizing because I have it, but most computers have some kind of simple editing program or there are probably better free ones to download.
