These were my Dad’s least favorite schools (along with A&M) so my sister and I decided he’d be rooting for the Fighting Irish.

SkyCast on ESPNews is great. Just the Skycam with no announcers.

Riley Leonard looked like he could have used a cart ride off the field after that touchdown drive.

All the skycast feeds are like that and it's fun.

I really miss the coaches film room though

I didn’t notice this in earlier bowls, but the “2025” word marks on the field are astride the 25 yard lines.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Tied with Mel Ott at Number 25 is Miguel Cabrera at 511.

Had the game on mute on my computer and looked up from my iPad to see a bomb mid-flight where the ND defender was beaten like a mule. Game over.

Not gonna dig but has to be the fewest posts for a CFP final. Know people here like the extra teams but the luster is coming off

Dunno. Yesterday sucked in general, right? I don't think anyone around here is a superfan of either team, unlike last year. The game got away from ND pretty quickly, and when they finally threatened to make it interesting again an hour and a half later, that lasted as long as that long pass play that Enoch described above. Had they stopped OSU and actually made a game of it there would have been some more chatter.

Probably but the NFL has been way better. Hasnt always been the case recently. When you make your league into the NFL people just might watch the NFL. Bunch of snow games. Ravens and Texans were lots of fun to me. Just plain better experience. Maybe not so much if we get more chiefs

Were any CFP games must watch in the lead up or game quality? Thursday/Friday games are sort of appreciated as something to do but kind of took away from the spectacle

Sac State moving to FBS. Curious what conference they land in. Mountain West seems likely.

I don't really know where to put this, but... The Belichick stuff with his girlfriend is... It's fucking weird, man. I was watching CBS Sunday Morning, as you do, and they had this lengthy profile. At one point, they show how involved she is during the interview, cutting off certain topics and hovering around.

He's old.. She looks like she's in her 20s.

It's fucking WEIRD.

Now The Athletic is reporting she was basically the driving force behind getting the Hard Knocks at UNC canceled.

To me, this line in that Athletic article is telling:
Hudson’s registered entities in Massachusetts include a “multi-platform media project,” Chapel Bill LLC.
I think she convinced him to spike "Hard Knocks" based on a lack of control over the project... so that she could develop a similar program with a different production entity to maintain control of the project. Finding a distributor would be easy due to the subject matter and I am certain all they would have to deliver is a couple promotional reels to seal that deal while retaining complete editorial control.

It's hard to look at every step along their path at this point and not say she is using their relationship to develop her career. It may be more accurate to say she's jumping the line instead of developing it.

I think he doesn't care because he has a young, hot girlfriend who handles all the bullshit in his life in which he has less than zero interest because he just wants to coach football. She, in turn, is using that as a way to establish her professional career.

I mean, getting Hard Knocks cancelled is objectively a good decision. Maybe she has some ideas to get the running game going as well.

Bill seemed to axe and dodge hard knocks multiple times over the years in foxboro. Seems to me she is doing his bidding but I didn't see the interview. Hot girl a lot more palatable to media (and administration) than cantankerous old man

It probably ain’t true love. But they’re each getting what they want out of the deal. After she feels like she’s used him to the degree necessary for her career, she’ll probably have him killed.

She's in over her head, bottom line. The ground rules are never disputed in these interviews when actual PR professional is involved. This only becomes an issue when the interviewee (or their handlers) don't like how the interview turned out.

Not to pull the "I've worked on setting up and directly negotiating what is fair game with the likes of 60 Minutes and the like" but... There, I just did.

She doesn't know what she's doing and fucking with CBS News is a great way to expose yourself.

And in terms of BB, he's a fucking asshole. The fact that he can't sit through a series of softball questions -- "How did you two meet?" was shot down... Grow up. You want publicity, you need to play ball.

Now that BB is accusing CBS News of "selective editing" to cause a "false narrative" it's only a matter of time before Trump weighs in on this, right?
