Re: The Autism Thread

Been thinking of posting this here for a while and was searching for the best way to present it, but just to summarize, a psychotherapist I've been seeing for a while diagnosed me a few months ago with a lower level of autism, and I concur with her. It's something I'd suspected for a while when I g...

There was a little kick back at that last year when it was announced. Overall I haven't heard much uproar, but I was not very online this weekend so I can't say for sure. I don't really care either way. I get why some would want it changed and I get the traditionalists viewpoint. But I suppose if i...

I could go the rest of my life without hearing 2-5 on J-Lo's list again and be just fine with that.
I love classic rock, but I agree with Giff on this one.
There are only two or three songs on J-Lo’s list that I wouldn’t turn off right away.

Needed to complete the 1st round: - Romero's entry - Ryan's 2nd entry - SanCarlos and Rass' flip years entries You said at some point we had until after the rest of the first round to resubmit. And isn't there a fully submitted first rd matchup that we haven't voted on yet? Jerloma v. Cerrano

BTW, another interesting friend exercise is to go through your non-family wedding party to see who you're still in touch with. Then go through when you were in someone else's and do the same.
Just did this recently and was able to track down a long ago friend I hadn’t talked to in 16 years.

There are also wife’s friends’ husbands who I like at couples dinner but not enough to go to a ball game or ever hang out with. Which always makes it awkward when they invite me and I decline. Plus side is they only ask once!

I made a new friend in 2000. Other than him, it is the same people I've been friends with since HS. I don't know where I would ever have the time in my life to develop a new friendship like those I have with the people mentioned above.
