Re: Worthy of mention, too obscure for own thread
My kids are big coaster fans so we hit Hershey and Great Adventure every summer. Is it worth going there before it closes? It’s a little more than an hour from where I am.
No. It’s an absolute shithole.
Dirty, poorly staffed by sketchy people or teens who give no fucks at all, broken rides and ...

In the first movie he has the walls of a conference room covered with numbers and is doing huge computations in his head. Pretty math-y to me.

What's the reaction to The Accountant?
I liked it. And I'm pretty sure my autistic son has seen it and liked it. Nobody expects a movie like that to be totally realistic. But I didn't find it offensive or filled with ignorant stereotypes or anything. It was quite nice to see an autistic ...

Re: What are you reading in 2025?
I have found libby to be less than useful. At least at my library (which shouldn't matter) has a bad selection and it's long waits for even halfway popular books. I don't like buying so many audiobooks but with over an hour of total commute at the moment it's been worth it.
I used Libby as a ...

Re: BUSINESS HORSE 2025 NFL MOCK DRAFT EXTRAVAGANZA
Oh look the Ravens take a physical anomaly that dropped to them in the 20s, what else is new. I don’t know if they need a nose-tackle type or not, I’m just going to assume they’d take Grant and figure it out. While I don’t think Grant was all that dominant, he is an impossibly large man who moves ...

Saw Trey Anastasio solo at the Warner Theatre in DC on Friday. Him and an acoustic for 75% of the show. Joined by a his co-creator on piano for the end of the show.
Very cool way to hear songs I love. Intimate venue. Cool stuff.
