Re: 2021 NFL Black Sunday Night, Etc.

The fact that I even saw one poll/tweet/question about him being in the HoF makes this not a strawman argument. It's an absurd question. If the Oilers had won a Super Bowl or two and someone asked if Ernest Givens should be in the HoF immediately after he retired, I'd fucking laugh my ass off. Ther...

Re: 2021 NFL Black Sunday Night, Etc.

A guy who has zero reason to be in the HoF due to not having a HoF career should not be discussed about possibly going to the HoF. Sports media is just awful. But he was a Patriot and played the game as it is supposed to be played. With grit and determination (because he is white). The aggressive r...

I enjoyed the Biggie Smalls doc. I was a very casual fan so I'm not sure what people who know more about him would think. There was a really interesting thing with his old jazz musician friend comparing his rapping style to a jazz drummer. Just started, This is a Robbery, which is about the Isabella...

One of my favourites as well. That stat about the brewers almost being in the NL for as long as they were in the AL makes me feel very old indeed. Just wait until we get to "the Giants and Dodgers have been in California longer than they were in New York." You are telling me the Giants and Dodgers ...

There's no booth review to override this idiocy? This is insane. They had a review and the call stood. Not according to the Mets announcers. What was reviewable was whether or not he was hit. It's a judgement call (non-reviewable) whether or not he stuck his elbow out to be hit. I mean, the Mets' a...

I think the Panther's draft pick becomes much more valuable now that they don't need to pick a QB. It seems there's really good non-QB talent at the top of the draft with many teams needing qbs, so now they should get a really good player or get a good return trading the pick. there's also this too...

It’s probably better to say something like “less effective” learning. Maybe I’m getting misinformed, but what I’ve read here and there...
