Re: 2020: The Democratic Presidential Nomination Thread

(This is good, guys. Let Biden be Biden. There are going to be more and more people that stop relying on the warm fuzzies and getting worried about his "electability." That's what I've been saying about not enough people are truly paying attention nationally. Well, they are fucking paying attention ...

Re: 2020: The Democratic Presidential Nomination Thread

I think especially with the benefit of hindsight it was profoundly smart for Abrams to skip this cycle. Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in women or African-Americans amongst the bulk of Dems. I'd also say that her organization's role in fighting voter suppression has already paid huge dividend...

Yeah, Booker is that guy right now. Possibly even someone that's not currently running, thought that's extremely rare. Deval Patrick is right up there for this role, but his profile is kind of low. Sanders-Abrams, baby. I'd skip to the polls. Abrams is a great call, but I truly think she's biding h...

The Biden campaign feels that the youth and minority vote is locked in. Which is a mistake. Hes trying to swing the old people vote only. But as mentioned above, youth need to be enthusiastic to campaign and volunteer. The Republicans have an entire voting mechanism in place. The Democrats need to ...

Re: NCAA Hoops 2019/2020

MI knocks off a pretty good (eyeball test) Iowa State team to open up the tournament down in the Bahamas. I know it's incredibly early, but with the talent that Juwan inherited, and some of the greener guys looking very sharp to start off... This team should be in the mix for the B1G title. They are...

I'm also psyched the game isn't airing on Fox. So incredibly tired of the same narratives being trotted out, different graphics all telling me how a coach that has a chance to go 4 of 5 years with 10 wins is some kind of disappointing failure. If you told me after the Wiskey game that MI would have a punchers chance against Ohio, I would've farted at you.

After the last 4 games?

The offense is clicking and the D is flying. Not predicting a win, but a month ago, I wasn't even going to tune in. Now I'm paying attention, at least.

Can a guy be named for two separate teams? Cuz the Caps had both Federov and Housley for a couple of years. Of those two, my memory is that Federov wasn't on the ice as much as Housley.
