Re: Worthy of mention, too obscure for own thread

So, tonight I was watching an old Seinfeld repeat - "The Bris" (season 5). The guy who played the rabbi was hilarious, so I looked him up to see the name of the actor. And then I learned that he, Charles Levin , died just a couple days ago, under odd circumstances. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD...

A great question is, "Can an asshole see the light and become a good guy?" Or, is an asshole and asshole, and all he can become is an asshole who no longer acts like one in public? ESPN hires Ryan Leaf to call college football games. Yes, the guy who has mainly been known for his status as an all-ti...

Re: Can't always eat right - Official junk food thread

Coincidentally I grilled ribs at home the other day. They were glorious. Each table setting got a wet washcloth in addition to a cloth napkin. Lots of delicious sauce. Maybe it’s different in public at a restaurant, but at home, if you don’t eat it with your hands, I gotta think you are a bit of a p...

Re: Television (no longer temporary)

Lucille Ball was a fine actress in old movies before tv, and you have to give her props for being the first big female television star (even though I never enjoyed her shows.). I have similar thoughts on Carol Burnett. She obviously was talented but didn’t make me laugh much. I liked MTM a lot more,...

I think you need a new Regulator. Easy to install and only around 10 bucks at your hardware store. Google propane grill regulator to see what it is and how to install.

I don't understand. Was there some clamor for a re-make? Why do they keep doing this sort of thing, and keep doing it poorly? Couldn't they have made more money just re-releasing the original in theaters again? (Many of you may be too young to remember this, but in the olden days before DVDs and VCR...

I'm surprised you're trying to defend him. The obvious play was to slide. He had no intention of sliding. Should have been moving to the outside of the plate away from the catcher, not the opposite. Suspension truly deserved.

About 2/3 of the breweries in CO are in the Front Range city strip, which is smaller than VA sizewise.
I-25 bisects Colorado, and IIRC, something like 90% of the state's population lives within 20 miles of that highway. (I'm sure Rush can clarify.)

There are so many places around the country to get good beer nowadays. Almost anywhere. We are truly living in a golden age for beer drinkers. I was in Bend, Oregon a couple weeks ago, and our server at one brewpub told us there were 20 in that town. The guy at the next place said it was 30 of them....

Jerry Seinfeld is expected to...
